The Need

Large-scale exploitation and overconsumption of natural resources has led to depletion of natural resources, environmental degradation and accumulation of waste all over the world.

Waste represents one of the most serious environmental threats, in both developed and developing countries.

According to UNEP (the United Nations Environment Programme), only a quarter of the  billion tons of municipal waste produced globally each year is recycled or recovered. There are no current technologies that are capable of handling the enormous volumes of waste in a sustainable, cost-effective, and time-efficient manner.

Our Commitment

Infimer is committed to providing solutions for the global waste problem, by turning the waste into valuable new materials and products.

Who we are

Infimer  has developed a breakthrough technologies and innovative processes for treating unsorted municipal solid waste (“MSW”) and turning it into novel thermoplastic composite materials which can be used as raw materials for the plastics industry.

Infimer conducted several production trials with the new technology. The materials produced were tested by a large plastics company, and as a result, Infimer received significant orders from that company. Infimer is now building its first production line in order to supply these orders and future demands.

In March 2015, Infimer raised the amount of US$ 2.4 million through a merger with a Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange-listed company.

Infimer is traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (INFR)
