Infimer has developed a breakthrough technology and innovative processes for treating unsorted municipal waste and turning it into novel thermoplastic composite materials which can be used as raw materials for the plastics industry.
Infimer conducted several production trials with the new technology. The materials produced were tested by a large plastics company, and as a result, Infimer received significant orders from that company. Infimer is now building its first production line in order to supply these orders and future demands.
In March 2015, Infimer completed a merger, by means of a share exchange, with Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange-listed company EZ Energy Ltd.
Following completion of the merger, Infimer became a wholly-owned subsidiary of EZ Energy, while Infimer’s shareholders became the controlling shareholders of EZ Energy (71%). On the transaction date, EZ Energy had about US$ 2.4 million in cash.
